Ladies, tramps and harlots. The dry, cold air whips around your ankles. Brackish water, gray slush and bits of grit splash up your heel.
Part of me sympathizes with the demands of contemporary fashion on your benighted feet. The other part wonders why you don’t wear season-conscious footwear.
You brave frostbite on your toes. You chip heels on uneven concrete. You maneuver around ankle-breaking grates. Your feet are unnaturally bent like a Barbie doll’s. Face it, your footwear is crap.
